Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently recruiting a **Senior Structural Designer** to join our Minerals & Metals business line. **Requirements:** * Technical qualification as a structural designer. * Minimum of 10 years’ verifiable work experience in mining projects with engineering consulting firms. * Experience in developing definition and execution studies and projects. * Proven experience using software including Smart Plant 3D (mandatory), AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Office. * Experience in concrete and steel structure design, development of foundation layout and reinforcement drawings, pre-design of mine service area architectural layouts, 3D modeling, and preparation of deliverable drawings for studies and detailed engineering. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and review **project structural drawings and models.** * Perform **structural design**, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. * Understand, apply, and maintain consistent design standards across projects by adhering to Ausenco’s design standards. * Maintain effective communication with project engineers and designers to ensure alignment and progress of activities. * Demonstrate initiative to independently carry out repetitive tasks and use judgment to determine appropriate methods for assigned tasks. * Provide design suggestions and make routine decisions within defined procedures, while recognizing when to seek assistance if guidance is unclear. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
