Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineer with experience in PostgreSQL database administration and optimization, capable of managing institutional systems and evaluating technological needs. Key Highlights: 1. Institutional database administration and optimization. 2. Server and entity software maintenance. 3. Hardware and software evaluation based on projections. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Computer Engineer, Systems Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Industrial Engineer. REQUIREMENTS: • Intermediate and/or advanced PostgreSQL administrator-level knowledge. • Training or course in SQL Server programming (administrator mode), minimum 40 hours. • Basic technical English proficiency. • Minimum 3 years of experience as a PostgreSQL database administrator and/or database optimization specialist. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Administer institutional databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) • Perform operations, updates, and maintenance of server and entity software • Evaluate hardware and software requirements for servers based on projections • Conduct operational statistics for software in testing and production environments. • Execute database backups and restorations. • Evaluate software used in communication systems BENEFITS: - Formal employment contract from day one, including all statutory benefits. - Positive work environment - Working hours: Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 – 5:00 PM. -Requirements- Minimum education: University degree 3 years of experience Age: between 28 and 50 years
