Job Summary: AtkinsRéalis Perú is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Specialist (Geochemistry) to coordinate projects, design geochemical sampling programs, and prepare technical reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and field supervision of geochemical sampling 2. Evaluation of geochemical composition and environmental management 3. Knowledge of hydrogeochemical modeling (PHREEQC) An opportunity has arisen to join AtkinsRéalis Perú as an Intermediate Environmental Specialist (Geochemistry). **Responsibilities:** * Conduct technical and logistical coordination of projects; ensure compliance with technical procedures and HSSE requirements. * Design geochemical sampling plans and conduct/supervise fieldwork. * Process, systematize, and review geochemical data for the preparation of environmental management instruments. * Review and validate technical information from laboratory analyses and/or external subcontractors, as well as information generated by other company disciplines for projects in which the specialist participates. * Evaluate the geochemical composition of materials and propose measures for their environmental management. * Possess knowledge of hydrogeochemical modeling (PHREEQC) to predict water quality under various operational and project closure scenarios. * Prepare and support the preparation of technical reports specific to this discipline, including critical analysis of results, conclusions, and recommendations for technical studies under Senior supervision. * Provide support in managing and/or coordinating the discipline for environmental management instruments (DIA, EIAsd, EIAd, etc.), environmental permits, and/or other environmental consulting services provided by the company. * Comply with and enforce company procedures. * Adhere to the company’s quality management system guidelines applicable to the role and area. * Other duties related to the responsibilities of the position. **Requirements:** * Academic background: Professional degree or bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields. * Experience: 6–8 years of experience in geochemistry within environmental consulting firms or similar organizations. * Experience in planning geochemical sampling programs and PHREEQC modeling. * Courses in environmental and/or mining management (desirable). * Intermediate English proficiency. * Willingness to travel as required by project needs. **Application Process:** * Applications are accepted exclusively through our corporate careers portal; applications submitted via other channels will not be considered. * Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. * Relocation costs are not covered.
