Job Summary: We are seeking Procurement Engineers to manage the acquisition and supply of materials and equipment for construction projects, coordinating with internal departments and controlling budgets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages procurement and supplier negotiation processes. 2. Ensures timely supply for the construction project. 3. Controls procurement budget and costs. **HERGON S.A. Group**, a Spanish company with extensive experience in the construction sector, specializing in the execution of private and public projects through the **Tax-Funded Works (OxI)** mechanism, is currently seeking **Procurement Engineers** for **Arequipa**. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * Minimum of **1 year** of experience in similar positions within the construction sector or industrial projects (including at least one project involving building construction). * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Studies or knowledge in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, or Contract Administration. * Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting technical files. * Residence in **AREQUIPA** (mandatory). **Main Responsibilities:** * Review material and equipment requirements for project execution. * Analyze technical files and drawings to prepare lists of required materials and equipment. * Manage procurement processes through quotations, supplier evaluation, and negotiation of prices, delivery times, and payment terms. * Monitor logistics of procurements to ensure timely supply for the project. * Control the assigned procurement budget and track associated costs. * Coordinate with various project departments to ensure adherence to supply schedules.
