Job Description
We are seeking a Plant Director to lead manufacturing operations at our Lima plant, ensuring operational excellence, safety, quality and achievement of business objectives.
This position will be responsible for directing production, maintenance, quality, processes and safety operations, driving continuous improvement, productivity and plant profitability, aligned with Amcor’s global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the plant's overall strategy and operations, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, service and productivity objectives.
Plan and coordinate production in alignment with commercial demand and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Manage key performance indicators (KPIs), promoting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Lead Production, Maintenance, Quality, Processes, Safety and Environment teams.
Ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, guaranteeing equipment availability.
Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and technologies.
Manage investments, procurement and outsourcing of external services related to operations.
Ensure compliance with corporate Quality, Safety, Environment and Integrated Management Systems standards.
Lead incident investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Promote a high-performance culture, talent development and collaborative teamwork.
Prepare management reports and present operational results to regional leadership.
Identify opportunities to increase productivity, profitability and sustainable business growth.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
MBA or postgraduate studies (preferred).
5–8 years of experience leading manufacturing operations in managerial roles.
Experience in the plastics industry, preferably in rigid packaging or high-volume consumer goods manufacturing.
Experience leading multiple operational processes and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and Statistical Process Control.
Financial acumen for evaluating profitability, productivity and investments.
Advanced English (mandatory).
