Our people make the difference in our success. **Employment Type:** Regular (Undefined) **What Are We Looking For?** Mission: Ensure implementation of the best technical solution to meet project requirements, leading multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: * Participate in Project Refinement: Refine / Support refinement of project scope; Propose, together with Architecture, the best technical solution for the project’s needs. * Participate in Project Onboarding: Attend meetings to understand business needs to be addressed by the team; Transfer a refined project to the delivery team; Identify dependencies that may arise at the start of the project; Participate in planning activities for the quarter (Q); Define and document commitments for each MVP to be developed during the Q. * Manage the Delivery Team: Promote BBVA principles and values within the team; Identify key project activities and synchronize their execution with the team; Facilitate cross-team and cross-unit communication. * Lead Projects: Coordinate with the team to ensure User Stories (US) entered by the Product Owner (PO) include all acceptance criteria before being scheduled; Advise on technical User Stories for correct registration and definition of acceptance criteria; Promote DevOps implementation in projects under your leadership; Coordinate with other geographies to identify / propose optimal solutions for projects under your leadership; Participate in Domain Committees. * Ensure post-production support for deployed developments: Ensure end-to-end functionality of the implemented solution; Coordinate the handover plan of implemented solutions to the Reliability team. * Share knowledge acquired during project development: Promote and actively participate in Practice Communities / Networks; Promote and participate in training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives implemented by the Bank. * Comply with the Agile framework in project development: Attend ceremonies defined within the Agile archetype assigned to the project; Implement Agile practices and artifacts in project development. 8 Guide the team under the Agile framework: Facilitate resolution of blockers and dependencies; Facilitate technical skill and soft skill development among team members; Promote Agile principles and values within the team. * Develop and maintain updated policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for the Banking Unit, as well as contribute to or coordinate, where applicable, cross-functional regulatory documents. * Other responsibilities assigned by your direct leader. Requirements: * Proven experience managing highly regulated products and services. Preferred: In-depth knowledge of credit and debit card lifecycle. * Demonstrated ability to efficiently balance team workload between delivering new strategic projects and addressing critical evolutionary and corrective maintenance. * Solid technical knowledge and ability to comprehensively manage ecosystems combining core/legacy technologies (Mainframe/Cobol) and modern distributed architectures. * Experience leading application transition, refactoring, and modernization processes—from long-standing legacy systems—to more robust and efficient architectures. **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
