Manage quality control and assurance of results. **Date:** Jun 21, 2026 **Location:** 08 \- HUANCAVELICA, PE **\#job\-location.job\-location\-inline { display:** inline; } **Company:** Buenaventura "Join Us" At Buenaventura, we are seeking a Laboratory Head for one of our mining units. **Key Responsibilities:** Promote compliance with obligations stipulated in Article 38 of Supreme Decree No. 055-2010-EM, Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health and Other Complementary Measures in Mining. Identify and assess hazards and risks, as well as environmental incidents and deviations in test results within the work area. Promote the Policy on Occupational Safety and Health, Environment, Quality, and Community Relations. Plan laboratory processes and operations across all laboratory areas. Supervise sampling during concentrate dispatch and ensure assay results for final products. Report head-grade assays of ore entering the Concentrator Plant per shift to Management, Mine, Geology, Planning, and Concentrator Plant departments. Report and inform the Concentrator Plant about analytical results affecting its operations and/or metallurgical tests. Supervise, comply with, and enforce operational controls, as well as various activities within the department. Manage quality control and assurance of results. Report monthly consumption of regulated chemical supplies. **Professional Profile:** Licensed Professional in Chemical Engineering or related field. Intermediate proficiency in office software. Minimum three years of experience in similar positions. Immediate availability to work at a mining unit. IMPORTANT!
