Our **Logistics** team is seeking a **Comex Assistant** to join Inchcape **Peru**. The purpose of this role is to ensure operational continuity, traceability, and efficient control of the end-to-end vehicle and machinery import process (from factory purchase coordination through to delivery at the distribution center), by rigorously tracking shipments, correctly managing customs documentation, and timely SAP registration—ensuring adherence to agreed delivery timelines, mitigating logistics cost overruns/deviations, and guaranteeing accounting compliance for the department. **Your Responsibilities** * Monitor daily shipment status and update weekly schedules to ensure visibility of transit and arrival times. * Collect and submit documentation and packing lists to customs agents to ensure swift, legally unencumbered customs clearance. * Validate suppliers’ indirect cost invoices and prepare cost worksheets to ensure accurate SAP registration and timely forwarding to Accounting. * Support logistics service payment management and coordinate with supply chain operators (shipping lines, warehouses, agents) to prevent delays in cargo release. * Coordinate with internal company departments and organize meetings to resolve operational incidents affecting assigned brands. * Assess logistics chain and assigned supplier performance against delivery timelines to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to import processes. * Perform other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor within your scope of responsibility. **About You** To succeed in this role, you will have: * Completed university studies in International Business, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Specialization in customs legislation or import operations management is desirable. * 1–2 years of experience in Comex, ideally within automotive-sector companies or related industries. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency and basic Power BI skills. * Basic–intermediate SAP proficiency (MM module transactions). **What We Offer** At Inchcape, we are building the future of mobility—and invite you to do so alongside us.
