In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—and form part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Follow established procedures during operational activities within your shift. * Coordinate and execute sampling and sample preparation tasks under the supervision of the Lead Sampler. * Perform copper shipment sampling according to quality standards defined in work procedures. * Carry out quality sample preparation tasks, complying with procedures and quality assurance and control measures at each process stage. * Conduct moisture tests on copper dispatch samples; results have high impact on operational decision-making. * Assist the Lead Sampler in performing equipment controls to ensure proper equipment functionality. * Maintain order and cleanliness of materials and operational areas. * Comply with the company’s environmental, safety, and quality policies. * Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by your immediate supervisor. **Requirements** * Metallurgical Technician or completion of 5th year of secondary education. * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions (preferred). * Theoretical foundation in sampling and sample preparation. * Driver’s license starting from Class AI (preferred). **Additional Information** * Formal employment registration from day one. * Statutory life insurance. * Ongoing training programs. * Corporate benefit agreements.
