




Position Summary: Evaluate patient care and admission requests, ensuring medical appropriateness and adherence to clinical practice guidelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate the medical appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient service requests. 2. Approve or reject admissions for new patients. 3. Ensure adherence to recognized Clinical Practice Guidelines. **Description** **Offer** -------------------------- Evaluate care requests and approve them based on medical appropriateness and current eligibility conditions. 1\. Evaluate the medical appropriateness of inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic support service requests submitted by providers and supported by documentation in the Clinical History (when required), as requested through the authorization system. 2\. Evaluate admission requests for new patients and approve or reject them based on the documentation provided. 3\. Interview new patients during their Oncology Benefit Activation process when their affiliation period is less than six months or when additional documentation is required. 4\.
