Job Summary:
Mining Engineer with experience in underground mining, responsible for developing and controlling operational planning, budgets, operating costs, and productivity; analyzing variances and proposing corrective actions.

Requirements:
* Mining Engineer (Degree holder)
* 3 years of experience in underground mining (Mine Operations and Mine Services).
* This experience must be substantiated by work in costs, productivity, valuations, and planning.
* Advanced Excel proficiency
Main Responsibilities:
\- Develop and control short- and medium-term operational planning for the mine.
\- Develop and monitor the mine's operating budget and costs.
\- Monitor production, progress, unit costs, and productivity.
\- Analyze production and cost variances versus budget and propose corrective actions.
\- Monitor equipment and resource performance, utilization, and productivity.
\- Prepare production, cost, and productivity reports and KPIs.
\- Coordinate with Geology, Operations, Maintenance, and other involved departments.
\- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization.
\- Provide information to support decision-making by the Mine Management/Leadership
\- Other duties as assigned
