Position Summary: Chemical Analyst for a laboratory at a gold mineral processing plant, focused on physicochemical analyses, fire assays, and operation of atomic absorption equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in gold analysis by fire assay, Newmont method, and smelting. 2. Solid knowledge of atomic absorption spectroscopy and operation of Agilent 24FS AA instruments. 3. Perform physicochemical analyses of samples and conduct fire assays. At ***PALTARUMI SAC*****, a gold mineral processing plant, we are seeking one (01) ***Chemical Analyst*** to work in our laboratory located in Barranca, Paramonga, under an atypical 14x7 work schedule. **Requirements**: * Professional with a degree in Chemical Engineering or a technical degree in Chemical Analysis. * **Experience in gold analysis by fire assay, Newmont method, and smelting.** * Solid knowledge of atomic absorption spectroscopy and operation of Agilent 24FS AA instruments. * Minimum **1 year** of experience as a laboratory analyst in mining sector companies. (Professional references required) * Availability to work under an atypical 14x7 schedule and immediate incorporation. **Responsibilities**: * Perform physicochemical analyses of samples from Sampling, Processing Plant, and Metallurgical Laboratory. * Conduct fire assays for gold and silver determination according to established procedures. * Operate and calibrate atomic absorption spectrometers and support multi-element analysis (XRF). * Prepare, dry, calcine, and filter samples for proper processing and analysis. * Verify the condition and proper functioning of laboratory equipment, balances, and supplies. * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, environmental, and workplace order regulations. **Benefits:** * Payroll enrollment from day one. * Profit-sharing based on production. * Statutory benefits (bonuses, CTS, and vacation leave) * Insurance coverage (Essalud, SCTR, and Life Insurance Law) * Birthday leave day * 100% coverage for meals and accommodation * Transportation allowance only for commuting from Barranca to the plant.
