Position Summary: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the SSOMA Management System, developing risk maps, and conducting safety and occupational health inspections and training. Key Highlights: 1. Follow up on SSOMA inspections conducted by the organization’s branches until their closure. 4\. Conduct SSOMA inspections and site visits as required. 5\. Monitor requirements ensuring operational readiness of emergency equipment related to occupational safety and health. 6\. Assist staff in talks, workshops, and training sessions on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental topics applicable to the organization, and support measuring their effectiveness. 7\. Deliver SSOMA talks to branch personnel, following prior training and approval by their supervisor. 8\. Prepare presentations and/or visual materials for the SSOMA Department’s presentations. 9\. Conduct documentary and operational inspections of the organization’s fixed suppliers, and review the validity of their documentation. 10\. Assist in preparing Environmental Aspects Identification and Evaluation Matrices, as well as Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Matrices, for subsequent review by their immediate supervisor or the relevant authority. 11\. Know and promote compliance with standards for selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment, adhering to procedures established by the organization and other related documents on safety, occupational health, and environment. 12\. Support verification of compliance with current legal regulations on SSOMA. 13\. Participate in identifying hazards, risks, environmental aspects, and impacts according to organizational activities, and support effective implementation of risk controls defined in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control, and environmental impact controls defined in Environmental Aspects Identification and Evaluation. REQUIREMENTS: \- Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Geology, Metallurgy, Mining, or related fields. Desirable: Proficiency in AutoCAD; diplomas in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment.
