For a leading financial and banking institution in Colombia, we are seeking a talented and autonomous Java Backend Developer. The Role: We seek a Semi\-Senior professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical backend solutions. You will actively participate throughout the entire software lifecycle—from technical analysis through implementation and testing—ensuring scalability and security of banking applications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot. * Design and implement efficient and secure RESTful services. * Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure code quality (JUnit/Mockito). * Collaborate on continuous integration and version control (Git). * Quickly adapt and learn proprietary banking frameworks (Java Spring-based). * Work autonomously, proposing continuous improvements to development processes. ✅ Profile Requirements: * Experience: 4 to 6 years of verifiable Java development experience. * Technical Stack: Mandatory proficiency in Java (8\+), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture. * Tools: Solid experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing. * Desirable Knowledge: SQL, Oracle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Swagger/OpenAPI. * Location: Resident in Colombia or Peru (100% remote). * Soft Skills: Self-management, proactivity, analytical ability, and excellent technical communication. **Plus: Prior experience in the banking sector** **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Prepaid medical insurance. * NEORIS Days (3 free days). * Employee Fund. * Annual performance bonus. * Vacation bonus. * Corporate tools. * Training and upskilling platforms.
