Road safety management and customer service A logistics and transportation company is looking for top talent to join the team as TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR. RESPONSIBILITIES · Supervise Visicooler’s transportation and distribution operations. · Lead and manage operational staff and work teams. · Monitor route adherence, delivery times, and service levels. · Supervise fuel control, operating costs, and transportation KPIs. · Verify proper handling of documentation (waybills, invoices, and reports). · Coordinate basic fleet maintenance and cold-storage equipment upkeep. · Manage incidents and provide timely customer support. · Ensure compliance with road safety standards and transportation regulations. · Plan routes and optimize operational resources. · Handle cash and administrative controls related to operations. REQUIREMENTS · Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles involving goods transportation and distribution. · Knowledge of logistics, transportation, fleet management, and road safety. · Experience managing and supervising personnel. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (basic/intermediate Excel). · Familiarity with operational documentation (waybills, invoices, and reports). · Understanding of goods transportation regulations and standards. · Knowledge of local routes and geography within the assigned area. · Willingness to travel within the assigned area. · Good physical health and fitness.
