Job Summary: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the maintenance department by planning, coordinating, and documenting daily technical tasks, managing inventories, and supervising personnel to ensure quality and safety. Supervision of technical staff and continuous improvement AFA INGENIEROS Position: Maintenance Assistant Department / Division: Operations and Services \- Services Management Reports to: Administration Head / General Administrator JOB MISSION: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the maintenance department through planning, coordination, and documentation of daily technical tasks, inventory control, and supervision of technical personnel to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance task calendars for equipment. * Manage area technical documentation, including historical records, logbooks, and work orders (WO). * Provide administrative supervision of technical personnel (mechanics, electricians, assistants) and coordinate training plans. * Maintain strictly up-to-date physical and virtual inventories of tools, spare parts, and components in the workshop warehouse. * Directly assist in preparing management reports, failure KPIs, and periodic maintenance department reports. * Schedule emergency repairs or plant shutdowns in close coordination with other operational departments. * Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and internal industrial safety and occupational health regulations. * Actively participate in and implement continuous improvement programs within maintenance procedures. * Manage operational and service contracts, quotations, and workflow with external suppliers. * Conduct periodic internal audits to verify correct application of technical procedures. * Coordinate proper final disposal of industrial waste and hazardous materials generated from workshop activities. * Control stock levels and ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for technical staff. * Collaborate in implementing new technologies and maintenance management systems (CMMS software). CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: * Academic background: Mechanical Technician, Electronics Technician, or related fields. * Academic degree: Technician, Bachelor's, or Certified Graduate. * Languages: Basic English proficiency. * Tools / Assets to handle: Laptop/PC operation, workshop diagnostic tools, and asset management software (CMMS). Salary: S/.1,500\.00 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
