Position Summary: Electronic Security Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and field supervision of security systems. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and configuration of CCTV and comprehensive security systems. 2. Implementation of structured cabling, networking, and conduit installation. 3. Preventive and corrective maintenance, and resolution of technical issues. As an Electronic Security Technician at Secura Projects S.A.C., your on-site and field work will involve the installation, maintenance, and supervision of security systems. Your daily responsibilities will include: - CCTV Installation and Configuration: Assemble, configure, and commission video surveillance systems and integrate them with Control Centers. - Structured Cabling and Networking: Install high-category network cables (e.g., Cat 6 and Cat 6A) to ensure stable communication. Punch down RJ45 connectors and jacks, and assemble computers/Patch Panels. Cable identification and labeling at both ends are mandatory. Additionally, perform fiber optic splicing (not frequently required). - Infrastructure and Conduit Installation: Neatly install cable protection using pipes (PVC, EMT, IMC), raceways, and cable trays. - Power Supply and Connectivity: Connect electrical power to equipment and work with POE (Power over Ethernet)-enabled switches to ensure maximum video transmission speed. - Integrated Security Systems: Install, maintain, and supervise access control systems and fire alarm detection technology. - Maintenance and Technical Troubleshooting: Proactively perform preventive/corrective maintenance on installed systems and resolve technical issues directly in the field.-Requirements- Minimum education: Secondary school 2 years of experience Languages: Spanish Age: between 22 and 50 years Knowledge: Alarms, Structured cabling, Conduit installation, CCTV, Access control, Electricity, Fiber optics, Camera installation, CCTV installation, Preventive maintenance, Technical troubleshooting, Electronic security, Security systems, Fire protection technology Keywords: technologist, technician, tech, technician, technology, technology, technologist, escort, guard, security officer, watchman, guard, surveillance
