Position Summary: IBENTEL is seeking an HVAC Designer with experience in developing technical files for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, possessing coordination ability and sound technical judgment. Selection of air conditioning and ventilation equipment At ***IBENTEL***, a leading company in the design and implementation of electromechanical projects, we are currently seeking an HVAC Designer with experience in developing technical files for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation. **Required Basic Profile:** \* Engineer, bachelor's degree holder, or graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or related field. \* Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC system design. \* Experience in developing technical files for air conditioning and mechanical ventilation. \* Knowledge of calculation, sizing, and routing of ductwork, refrigerant piping, and/or chilled water piping, depending on system type. \* Knowledge of selection of air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and exhaust equipment. \* Knowledge of direct expansion systems, VRF/VRV systems, mechanical ventilation, and fundamentals of chilled water systems. \* Familiarity with applicable codes and standards: RNE, EM.030, ASHRAE, among others. \* Experience using HVAC calculation software such as HAP, Elite CHVAC, or similar. \* Proficiency with VRF/VRV system selection software such as DVM, LATS, Xpress, MSSP, TVR, or similar. \* Proficiency with fan selection software such as QuickFan. \* Technical judgment, organization, communication skills, and ability to coordinate with other disciplines. **Desirable and/or Added Value Qualifications:** \* Experience in office, banking, retail store, and/or retail projects. \* Experience in quantity surveying and/or budget preparation. \* Knowledge of simulation or design criteria for carbon monoxide exhaust systems in parking garages. \* Proficiency in Revit MEP or other BIM tools. \* Knowledge of NFPA standards and/or ACI system design. \* Diplomas, specialized courses, or additional training in HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning, energy efficiency, or related fields. \* Active participation in technical activities, communities, or chapters related to ASHRAE or similar organizations. **Main Responsibilities:** \* Complete development of HVAC technical files. \* Preparation of drawings, descriptive reports, calculation reports, technical specifications, and quantity take-offs. \* Calculation and sizing of ductwork, piping, and associated systems. \* Selection of air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and exhaust equipment. \* Development and selection of VRF/VRV systems using manufacturer software. \* Development and/or modification of chilled water systems. \* Coordination and integration with architecture and other disciplines. \* Technical coordination during project development. \* Preparation and/or review of quantity take-offs and budgets.
