Defect management and solution quality assurance At Valtx, a company with 25 years of experience in the Peruvian market whose primary objective is to become a strategic partner through technological solutions across various business process areas—including application and technology infrastructure development, implementation, and maintenance—and consulting across diverse transformation processes, we are currently seeking a FUNCTIONAL QA. What qualifications do I need? Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or related fields 4 years of experience in system functional, regression, and user acceptance testing Testing of banking-oriented systems: Digital payments and instant transfers Event-driven architecture GCP Pub/Sub, asynchronous messaging (Verification of message flow, asynchronous processing, retries, queues, and event monitoring.) Transactional reconciliation validation (Comparison and validation of data between source and destination systems to ensure financial transaction integrity.) BanTotal Core Banking and financial processes. (Validation of banking products, accounts, transactions, financial operations, and critical core banking processes.) Mobile testing (Android and iOS) / Digital wallets Microservices and REST APIs Proficiency in Jira, Xray. Interoperability testing among financial institutions. (Validation of information exchange and transaction processing between banks, fintechs, and payment processors.) Management of distributed environments (Execution and tracking of tests in architectures composed of multiple systems, services, and integrations.) Intermediate-level database knowledge: DB2/SQL Server / Data and log analysis. Version control tools: GIT Familiarity with code and security analysis tools such as SonarQube; Veracode. Performance testing Responsibilities: Execute functional and integration testing for digital payments, transfers, and financial processes. Validate microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. Verify asynchronous messaging using GCP Pub/Sub and distributed environments. Perform transactional reconciliation and validation of financial operations. Conduct testing on BanTotal Core Banking, mobile applications, and digital wallets. Validate interoperability among financial institutions and external systems. Analyze logs, traces, and SQL/DB2 databases to identify issues. Manage defects, test evidence, and results to ensure solution quality.
