Job Summary: Wastewater treatment plant operator with experience in equipment maintenance and control, ensuring proper plant operation and compliance with environmental parameters. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain the plant’s proper operational condition and housekeeping 2. Coordinate maintenance of equipment and tanks at the plant 3. Measure, verify, and regulate aeration and pumping parameters We are a multinational company operating in countries including Peru, Chile, and Paraguay, focused on environmental protection, with nationwide presence. We specialize in renting and selling portable toilets, collecting and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous solid and liquid waste, destroying expired goods, and maintaining wastewater treatment plants—where environmental health is vital. Our company holds International Certifications for Quality, Safety, and Environment. · We are seeking: WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR for our client in VENTANILLA Requirements: · - Completed technical and/or university studies in Electrical Engineering, Water Treatment Operations, Mechanical Engineering, etc., or related fields. - Laboratory equipment handling experience at wastewater treatment plants is mandatory. - Minimum 2 years’ work experience at treatment plants (employment certificates required) - Experience in Reverse Osmosis - MUST reside in Lima Norte areas (Callao, Ventanilla, La Perla, La Punta, etc.) - Availability to work under a 14x7 work schedule · Responsibilities: - Maintain the wastewater treatment plant’s proper operational condition and housekeeping. - Coordinate maintenance of plant equipment and tanks. - Measure, verify, and regulate aeration parameters, sludge return, and equalizer tank levels. - Measure, verify, and control pumps (equalizer, sludge return, sodium hypochlorite dosing). - Measure and adjust operational parameters (Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, pH, Settleable Solids, Residual Chlorine). - Complete the Operator Log Form and coordinate with DISAL supervisor to correct any deviations. - Interpret test results and implement corrective actions. - Equipment Checklists. - Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the wastewater treatment plant. - Follow the Preventive Maintenance Plan. - Perform other duties within the scope of competence as assigned. · Conditions: Base Salary + Food Allowance Working Hours: 6x1 — Monday to Friday (7:00 AM–4:30 PM) / Saturdays (7:00 AM–12:30 PM) Full payroll benefits Pleasant working environment. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Technical 2 years of experience Keywords: operator, operator, operator, area
