In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling procurement requirements across various departments in accordance with corporate guidelines; ensuring compliance with Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management System standards; and overseeing that your direct reports also adhere to these standards. You will report to the Team Leader, Purchasing. This position is based in Lima and/or Arequipa and does not involve travel. Team You’ll Be Part Of You will join a team of professionals specialized in procurement of various supplies, minor fabrications, and services for mining operations. We work closely with internal and external customers. Our team is distributed across both Lima and Arequipa and values practices such as: Open and transparent communication Collaborative work Continuous learning Accountability and commitment **Your Responsibilities:** Handle procurement requirements across all indirect categories related to Professional Services. Develop a list of potential suppliers to fulfill the requirements. Initiate the quotation request process with suppliers and compare technical and commercial aspects of each received quotation. Manage supplier awarding and execute transactions in SAP to issue purchase orders from Purchase Requisitions. Conduct coordination and/or negotiations with suppliers. Track strategic orders until confirmation of delivery dates for goods or service execution by suppliers, and provide support to the department in handling smaller purchase orders when required. Generate backlog reports for Purchase Requisitions, procurement activities, and suppliers. Hold periodic meetings with users to review the backlog. Carry out onboarding processes for new suppliers. Provide support in managing indirect procurement and/or Professional Services for key company projects assigned to you. **What We Expect From You:** Bachelor's degree and/or graduate in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or related fields. Minimum 5 years of professional experience performing similar duties, preferably within Metso. Minimum 3 years of procurement experience for mining and/or construction projects. Intermediate level of English language proficiency. Experience and knowledge in cost management. Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power BI.
