Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and committed Import Assistant to coordinate the logistics cycle of goods, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and manage commercial documentation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive coordination of the import logistics cycle. 2. Ensuring compliance with Peruvian customs regulations and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). 3. We are currently recruiting new talent eager to join our organization in the position of: IMPORT ASSISTANT What qualifications should you have for this position? Technical and/or university degree in Administration, International Trade (Comex), or related fields. Preferably at least 1 year of experience in this role. Experience in the retail, import, or mass-consumption sectors (preferred). Up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, international physical distribution, and Incoterms. Knowledge of tariff classification and COMEX document management. Familiarity with ERP systems. Intermediate English (preferred). Responsibilities: Coordinate the entire logistics cycle of goods—from the country of origin to their arrival at the warehouse or point of sale in Peru. Ensure compliance with Peruvian customs regulations, the General Customs Law, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and other applicable regulations. Manage and supervise required financial and commercial documentation (invoices, certificates of origin, permits, customs operations, etc.) to avoid delays and penalties. Coordinate with internal departments such as Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse to ensure supply chain efficiency. Other duties related to the position.
