Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible warehouse assistant to ensure efficient merchandise delivery, inventory control, and maintenance of order and cleanliness in warehouses. Key Highlights: 1. MARISCAL CASTILLA BLOCK 13 - PUEBLO LIBRE DISTRICT -BUSINESS HOURS: MONDAY TO SATURDAY: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM COMPETENCIES: INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSERTIVE COMMUNICATION ORDERLINESS AND PUNCTUALITY HONESTY AND COMMITMENT WORK MODALITY: 100% IN-PERSON JOB MISSION Efficiently deliver merchandise to external customers and continuously monitor inventories for up-to-date kardex reports, while maintaining orderly and clean warehouses and equipment under one's responsibility. FUNCTIONS 1. Serve internal and external customers as applicable. 2. Receive Shipping Guides issued by the Dispatch Assistant and proceed to locate the requested merchandise, verifying corresponding codes to ensure correct product delivery. 3. Primarily responsible for stacking and/or unstacking, and properly handling merchandise for storage, delivery to customers, or transportation. 4. Responsible for obtaining the customer’s signature on the Shipping Guide, indicating their DNI number as confirmation of merchandise receipt; the assistant must stamp the guide and affix their approval signature confirming delivery. 5. Code merchandise after verifying the correct code and its description in the Commercial System’s kardex. 6. Responsible for counting products under one’s charge for daily closing inventory and must immediately report discrepancies or adjustments required for daily closing. 7. Support escort for drivers delivering merchandise to construction sites or other locations (stacking, unstacking, vehicle supervision, etc.). 8. Responsible for maintaining proper order and upkeep of the warehouse. 9. Comply with mandatory safety measures and use of personal protective equipment in all activities. 10. Perform duties aligned with the profile assigned by the immediate supervisor. REQUIREMENTS -Completed secondary education and/or completed technical certification. -Knowledge of equipment and tools usage (wrenches, forklifts, scales, etc.). -Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks such as loading, moving, packing, and stacking construction materials. (Mandatory) -Prior experience of at least 1 year in Logistics and Warehousing. (Mandatory) -Knowledge of Construction Materials, Hardware, and Drywall Systems.
