Position Summary: We are seeking a Graduate or Certified Mechanical Assistant for preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic pumping systems at a mining unit, ensuring operational continuity and safety. A leading water technology company is seeking a Graduate or Certified Mechanical Assistant to perform duties at the Antamina Mining Unit, responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of HYDRAULIC PUMPING SYSTEMS, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with field safety standards. Main Responsibilities: Support preventive and corrective maintenance on stationary and mobile hydraulic water pumps. Report to the Technical Supervisor on all operational, technical, safety, and environmental aspects related to maintenance activities. Follow directives, instructions, and provisions issued by the Safety Supervisor, and attend trainings, safety talks, and preventive activities established by the mining unit. Verify proper equipment operation before and after each intervention. Maintain order, cleanliness, and control of assigned tools, equipment, and materials. Comply with and promote the company’s and client’s Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SOHE) procedures. Operate mobile units (pickup trucks) within mining sites when required by job duties and when duly authorized. Yellow Zone experience preferred Job Requirements: Graduate or certified Mechanical Technician (Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields). Minimum 1 year of experience in the mining sector performing water pump maintenance (horizontal and vertical centrifugal, submersible, multistage pumps). (Mandatory). Solid knowledge of hydraulics, shaft alignment, lubrication, and mechanical systems. Valid certifications in risk management, safe work practices, and mining regulations. Driver’s license A-I (Mandatory). Willingness to work under a 14x7 work schedule in Huaraz-Ancash. Residence in areas near Lima Provinces, Huaraz, Ancash (preferred for transportation convenience).
