




Job Summary: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the maintenance of Instabus's bus fleet to ensure operational continuity and quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Job Objective: Ensure the availability, safety, reliability, and optimal mechanical condition of Instabus's bus fleet through planning, coordination, and supervision of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance—thereby guaranteeing uninterrupted operations, compliance with quality and safety standards, and optimal utilization of departmental resources. Main Job Responsibilities: * Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of the fleet. * Coordinate immediate response to mechanical incidents and roadside emergencies. * Supervise and validate mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics of vehicles. * Verify proper execution of repairs and adherence to technical and safety standards. * Manage and control consumption of spare parts, tools, and workshop supplies. * Administer and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, work orders, maintenance histories, and repair reports. * Monitor departmental performance indicators such as mechanical availability, repair times, failure frequency, and spare parts consumption. * Coordinate with the Operations Department to schedule vehicles for maintenance, minimizing service impact. * Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of workshop technical staff. * Promote technical training and adherence to best maintenance practices. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing costs. * Supervise vehicle cleaning and overall presentation prior to deployment into service. * Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, as well as internal company procedures. * Other duties assigned by the direct supervisor. Academic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree or professional title in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. * Specialized studies in maintenance management, fleet maintenance, or reliability are preferred. Experience: * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interprovincial bus or heavy-vehicle maintenance. * Experience leading technical maintenance teams. * Experience in interprovincial passenger transport, logistics, or large-scale fleet companies. * Desirable experience maintaining Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Yutong, Modassa, Marcopolo, and Comil buses. Knowledge: * Heavy-duty automotive mechanics. * Diesel and CNG systems. * Electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and suspension systems. * Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance management. * Maintenance performance indicator (KPI) handling. * Spare parts and tool inventory control. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred. * Driver’s license A1 or higher (desirable).
