We are currently seeking a: **Professional Intern in Biotechnology \- Chao** **Your impact on our team:** You will provide support and assistance in the **execution of projects, experiments, and operational activities within the Biotechnology department**, primarily focused on **plant propagation and in vitro cultures**, actively participating in laboratory activities and occasionally in fieldwork. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your technical knowledge and contribute to the development and propagation of new varieties and genetic material. ### **Responsibilities** * Support activities related to micropropagation and in vitro plant propagation. * Participate in the evaluation and development of new formulations for departmental processes. * Support the execution of plant culture experiments, including data collection, recording, and organization. * Assist in the statistical processing and analysis of results obtained from various experiments. * Participate in the preparation of culture media and basic operation of laboratory equipment. * Support the development, updating, and documentation of laboratory protocols and descriptions. * Occasionally conduct field activities for plant material collection and scheduling of collections. * Provide support for activities related to the propagation and evaluation of new varieties and genetic material. * Maintain organized and up-to-date records of information generated during departmental projects and experiments. ### **Requirements** * Graduate in **Agronomic Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology**, or related fields. * Prior experience through pre-professional internships, academic projects, or research related to **in vitro cultures** is desirable. * Knowledge of **plant propagation and in vitro cultures**. * Basic knowledge of culture media preparation and laboratory equipment handling. * Intermediate-level proficiency in **MS Excel**, mainly for data registration and statistical analysis. * Knowledge of **Excel macros** is desirable. * **Intermediate English**, primarily for understanding technical terminology and documentation. * Interest in developing expertise in biotechnology-related projects, plant propagation, and process improvement. * **Work modality:** 100% on-site. * **Location:** Mar Verde Biofactory – Frusol, Chao. * **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Saturdays, 7:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. ✨ **Apply with us and join the team driving agricultural innovation, developing research-based solutions to continue bringing the best from the field to the world.** At Camposol, we promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities and gender equity, ensuring equal opportunities and conditions for all individuals.
