Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks on machinery, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive, corrective, and predictive mechanical maintenance of machinery 2. Support in fault diagnosis and root cause analysis 3. We are currently seeking a “MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT” for our Chorrillos office: Requirements: \- Technical degree in Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields. \- Minimum 1 year of experience in the food industry. \- Basic knowledge of plant safety and food safety standards. \- Required skills: Responsibility, decision-making ability, teamwork, frustration tolerance, and work organization. \- Availability to work in Chorrillos. \- Availability for rotating shifts: morning, afternoon, and night. Responsibilities: \- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment, and auxiliary systems throughout the plant. \- Support fault diagnosis and root cause determination. \- Execute required preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance programs and actions according to instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor. \- Carry out disassembly, repair, alignment, lubrication, and reassembly of mechanical components. \- Verify availability and condition of tools, spare parts, and materials prior to each intervention. \- Prepare corresponding reports of completed work (Maintenance Forms: Work Orders, Purchase Requests, Service Reports, and Technical Reports) and/or report incidents to higher authorities within their scope of responsibility. \- Support installation, adjustment, and calibration of new or repaired equipment. \- Strictly comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SOHE) regulations. \- Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP. \- Participate in inspections, audits, and technical training sessions scheduled by the department.
