Academic Background
* Bachelor's degree or graduate in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields.
Knowledge and Certifications
* Law No. 29783 and related Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations.
* AutoCAD (desirable).
* OSH diploma program of minimum 150 hours.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Basic English (desirable).
Experience
* Minimum 6 months to 1 year in hydrocarbon and/or civil construction projects, with OSH knowledge.
* Experience in inspections, IPERC, inductions, and operational safety control (desirable).
Other Requirements
* COVID-19 vaccination: third dose (per current company/client policy).
* Class A-I driver's license desirable but not mandatory.
* Willingness to travel and work onsite.
* Documented curriculum vitae.
Main Responsibilities
SSOMA Inspections and Control
* Verify that equipment, tools, materials, and PPE comply with applicable standards and procedures.
* Conduct monthly SSOMA inspections at project sites and offices, issuing observations and recommendations.
* Monitor high-risk activities in field and office settings and promptly report to responsible personnel.
* Provide biweekly follow-up on the status of measurement equipment when the HSEQ Coordinator is not in the office, and disseminate its status to staff.
Document Management and Prevention
* Develop and support implementation of OSH standards, procedures, and practices.
* Prepare IPERC Matrix, Environmental Aspects Matrix, Risk Map, and Emergency Response Plan for projects and offices.
* Conduct pre-use checklists (for operations, equipment, high-risk tasks, and PPE) as a safety management tool.
Training, Integrated Management System (IMS), and Preventive Culture
* Support SST inductions for new and third-party personnel.
* Conduct safety meetings and support scheduled activities.
* Identify, report, and correct hazards/aspects and risks/impacts within the work area.
* Fulfill responsibilities outlined in the Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation and related annual OSH program.
* Participate in development and updating of the Risk Map and in implementation of IMS recommendations.
Incidents, Emergencies, and Compliance
* Immediately report incidents, occupational accidents, occupational illnesses, and unsafe conditions.
* Promptly communicate any situation threatening safety, health, or facilities.
* Implement immediate corrective actions where possible, without penalty for reporting.
* Cooperate in investigations of accidents and occupational illnesses as required.
* Properly use company instruments, materials, equipment, facilities, and information.
* Comply with integrated quality, environmental, and OSH policies, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Salary: S/.1,130.00 per month
Work Location: Regular travel
