Job Summary: Valtx is seeking a Backend QA Engineer to perform ETL workflow testing, API automation, data validation, and work with agile methodologies in a technology-driven environment. Requirements: * ETL workflow testing (extraction, transformation, and loading). * API and service automation. * Knowledge of JSON and XML validation. HTTP status code, header, token, and authentication validation. * Understanding of data modeling, schemas, and transformations. Validation of data integrity and consistency. * API testing tools such as Insomnia, Postman, SoapUI. * Strong SQL knowledge for data validation, reconciliation, and test query development (writing complex queries, JOINs, subqueries, aggregations. Data validation in staging and production tables. Dataset comparison (before/after ETL).) * Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple test cycles. * Knowledge of agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban. * Test management: JIRA, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr. * Core Banking modules: Accounting, Credit, Liabilities, or Regulatory. * 4+ years of experience in API and batch process (ETL) testing on AWS.
