Join us and help run what runs the world. **This position reports to:** Project Manager \_\_ **Your Role and Responsibilities** In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead all on-site activities for an assigned project or subproject of small or medium scale, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of project deliverables while complying with quality standards, schedule requirements, and safety specifications. Each day, you will lead the project’s assigned work team, following established guidelines and allocating appropriate tasks. Additionally, you will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring compliance with cybersecurity-related regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. The work model for this position is: On-site. This position contributes to the Automation business area in Lima, Peru. **Your key responsibilities will include:** * Receive the assigned work area from the client, Site Manager, or Project Manager, and formally hand over the completed project to the end client. * Apply basic project scheduling and planning techniques to ongoing activities, proactively managing schedule-related risks to ensure timely delivery. * Establish the project schedule baseline, continuously monitoring and documenting progress of on-site activities and other project-related tasks. * Manage the closure of all pending items (punch list), delivery of installed equipment, as-built documentation, material reconciliation, site demobilization, and other close-out activities, obtaining final certification from the client. **Qualifications for the Position** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience working on industrial projects, preferably as a Resident Engineer, Field Supervisor, or similar role. * Experience executing or supervising work at mining facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule standards. * Intermediate level of English preferred (not mandatory). **At ABB, we are committed to addressing global challenges.
