In this position, you will be responsible for operating forklifts at the Villa El Salvador (Lima) warehouse, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM. The **Warehouse Operations Assistant** role aims to execute assigned operational tasks in the Warehouse Area or other FLSmidth warehouse facilities, in accordance with established procedures, protocols, operational and safety policies, and technical specifications related to parts, equipment, and tools—ensuring achievement of departmental objectives and goals. ***Responsibilities*** * Execute assigned operational tasks in the FLSmidth Warehouse Area, in accordance with established procedures, protocols, operational and safety policies, and technical specifications related to parts, equipment, and tools—ensuring achievement of departmental objectives and goals. * Perform activities associated with receiving, storage, packaging, and dispatch processes, in line with established specifications to ensure product and process quality. Provide operational support for incoming goods, dispatch, inventory management, and other tasks required to perform your duties. * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety policies, protocols, regulations, and tools. * Operate internal control and administration systems (for consultation purposes). * Maintain productive assets in safe and pre-established operating conditions, using equipment and tools correctly. * Use designated lifting and rigging equipment where required, adhering strictly to the tonnage specified for each operation. * Use manual and power tools necessary to perform your duties. * Properly manage material waste, having received relevant training on this subject. * Conduct visual inspections of dispatched or received products or materials, reporting any anomalies or deviations. * Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas and assigned workstations. * Collaborate in executing other tasks not directly related to your primary responsibilities—provided they do not compromise your core functions—as a means of strengthening departmental performance. * Promote a culture of safety and self-care at the individual level, within your team, and across the entire company—engaging all stakeholders potentially impacted by our activities, in compliance with standards, policies, and requirements; actively participate in scheduled activities under annual HSEQA plans and programs; report all incidents, near-misses, unsafe acts or conditions, and, if required, ensure active participation in investigations. * Other additional responsibilities requested by the company, related to area processes and the position held. ***Requirements*** * Technical-professional education. * Minimum two years’ experience in warehouse processes such as receiving, storage, and dispatch. * Knowledge of and proficiency with manual, mechanical, and hydraulic tools. ***What We Offer*** * Health insurance for employees and their immediate family. * Career path and professional development opportunities. * Company-provided meals. * Commuter bus service.
