Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 people and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** * Conduct physical, chemical, or microbiological analyses using predetermined techniques to meet service requirements within the department, while fully complying with all safety regulations, quality control standards, organizational policies, and environmental policies. * Participate in updating or developing new methodologies, including method execution, result recording, data processing, and preparation of procedures and protocols as required. * Operate, support, and maintain optimal functionality of equipment and supplies related to assigned duties, and be responsible for reporting malfunctions or the need for replacement. **Requirements** * Formal Education: Chemical Analyst, Mid-level Technician, Higher-level Technician, University Technician, Professional Technician, or other qualifications focused on Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology, depending on the service area. * Experience: Ideally 1 year of relevant experience. * Minimum Required Competencies: Practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical methods applicable to the specific area or service. * Knowledge: Laboratory equipment procedures and usage; safety regulations and traceability requirements for sample handling. **Additional Information** We offer: * Life insurance starting from the date of joining the organization. * Special leave entitlements. * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and associated agreements. * Ongoing training opportunities.
