Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior IT Security Specialist to manage corporate security services and solutions, collaborate in incident and vulnerability management, and advise on evolutionary projects. We are looking for our next Senior IT Security Specialist, based in San Borja, Lima, Peru. To manage the bank’s corporate security services and solutions to enable and sustain business growth. What will you do on a day-to-day basis? * Support the management of the bank’s information security incidents and vulnerabilities through corporate and/or targeted scans, establishing response plans, including report and KPI generation. * Collaborate in reviewing, developing, and approving use cases in the SIEM and other security solutions, coordinated with the SOC and CSIRT. * Collaborate in developing and approving the bank’s security policies, procedures, standards, and related regulatory frameworks. * Generate metrics on coverage, effectiveness, and compliance of security services and solutions. * Participate in technical working groups and emergency sessions in response to security, cybersecurity, business continuity, and fraud incidents. * Advise on evolutionary projects and initiatives involving technology security aspects, aligning them with the bank’s and corporate security standards. * Maintain continuous updates to the catalog of technology security and cybersecurity solutions, aligned with ticket management and established response times agreed upon with your direct supervisor and the organization, including report and KPI generation. * Collaborate in monitoring and controlling security standards for PCI DSS, ASA, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, and NIST. * Define, design, update, decommission, and manage—jointly with your manager—the applicability of secure configuration baselines for the bank’s information assets. * Participate in security tool implementation projects, as well as maintenance, control, and even decommissioning activities. What do you need to apply? * Professional background: Systems, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (or related fields), with security-related courses and certifications. * Minimum 5 years of proven experience in banking and finance security, ASA, PCI, ISO 27001, and NIST. * Experience implementing and managing security solutions, handling KPIs and SLAs. * Strong ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary, corporate, and vendor teams. * Availability to work onsite at our San Borja, Lima office three times per week. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Minimum 5 years of proven experience in banking and finance security, ASA, PCI, ISO 27001, and NIST. * Systems, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (or related fields), with security-related courses and certifications. * Experience implementing and managing security solutions, handling KPIs and SLAs. * Strong ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary, corporate, and vendor teams.
