




Position Summary: ACCIONA is seeking a Technical Office Assistant to support power line and substation projects, ensuring the accurate translation of engineering designs into field execution and providing technical oversight of project implementation. As leaders in innovation and technological development, we seek experts who can drive sustainable development and deliver solutions to the world’s greatest challenges—such as global warming, overpopulation, and water scarcity.** **Position Description** **ACCIONA**, for its **INDUSTRIAL** business unit, requires hiring a Technical Office Assistant for a power line and substation project located in Lima during its engineering phase and in Ica during its construction phase. **Mission:** Provide technical office support for the SSEE (Substations) and LTs (Power Lines) scopes of the HUB project throughout the engineering and subsequent construction phases, ensuring proper translation of engineering designs into field execution, technical oversight of implementation, timely responses to technical inquiries, and construction support through drawings, quantity take-offs, change orders, and other necessary technical documentation for correct work execution. **Candidate Requirements** **Responsibilities:** -------------- * Preparation and control of technical documentation for LTs and substations, including organization of drawings, EETTs (Execution Engineering Technical Specifications), and dossiers required for construction. * Updating and version control of project drawings and documents for subsequent execution. * Channeling, tracking, and closing technical queries, RFIs (Request for Information), field observations, and clarification requests related to construction execution. * Tracking technical constraints on site and promoting their timely resolution. * Preparation and review of quantity take-offs, volumetric calculations, comparative tables, and technical justifications required for execution and control of works. * Verification of quantities executed on-site together with the Planner and Field Supervisors across different work fronts. * Support in preparation of monthly progress certifications (valuations). * Support in controlling the construction budget, particularly subcontractor valuations. * Support in analyzing additional items and deductive items for the project. * Monitoring and control of execution schedules for various subcontractors (software: P6, MS Project or Excel). * Tracking physical progress of the works across all work fronts. * Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports using information provided by field supervisors. * Coordination of requirements for minor materials and equipment needed for execution. * Support in planning of construction resources. * Control of consumption of minor materials and equipment. * Preparation of budgets and analysis of unit prices (APU) for additional works. * Coordination with Engineering, Production, Quality, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and Logistics departments to issue technical and progress reports requested by supervision and the client. **Required Profile:** --------------------- **Academic Qualification / Degree:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. * Technical courses in engineering design and cost estimation software are desirable. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technical Office Engineer / Substation and Transmission Line Bidding Engineer. **Languages and Proficiency Level:** * Intermediate English (desirable). **Additional Knowledge:** * Construction and assembly processes for substations and transmission lines. * Reading and interpretation of civil, electromechanical, and electrical drawings. * Quantity take-offs and control of work quantities. * Management of RFIs, engineering changes, and field interferences. * Preparation and control of red-line and as-built drawings. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. * Familiarity with project management, cost estimation, and project control software. * Knowledge of applicable technical standards for substations and electrical line construction. * Technical knowledge of LLTT (Long-Distance Transmission Lines) and SSEE (Substations) is desirable. **Willingness to Travel** – YES ACCIONA has received the Top Employer certification for 2024 and 2025.
