Supervision of the baggage handling system (BHS). ### **Job Title** Maintenance Technician### **Job Description** **Maintenance Technician II** ============================= **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment, systems, and components. * Diagnose, locate, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical failures, ensuring operational continuity of equipment. * Supervise and control the baggage handling system (BHS) flow, promptly identifying and correcting any interruption or anomaly. * Respond quickly and efficiently to operational failures to minimize downtime and maintain system availability. * Perform measurements and interpret electrical signals using diagnostic and test instruments. * Interpret basic PLC and SCADA system signals for diagnostic and fault-locating activities (programming not required). * Document maintenance activities and ensure effective communication during shift changes to guarantee operational continuity. * Comply with organizational safety, quality, and maintenance procedures. * Perform effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a problem-solving orientation. * Demonstrate initiative and willingness for continuous learning of new equipment, technologies, and electromechanical systems. * Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and maintenance documentation required to perform tasks.
