Our company, Antapaccay Mining Company, is seeking top talent to fill the position of: Rigger Antapaccay is a copper mining operation belonging to the Glencore Group since 2013. It commenced operations in November 2012, following several years of exploration investment aimed at extending the life of the Tintaya mine. The mining settlement is located in the province of Espinar, Cusco region, at an altitude of 4,100 meters above sea level. This operation enables us to continue contributing to the sustainable development of the Espinar province, not only by fostering the creation of direct and indirect jobs and boosting the local economy through procurement from local enterprises, but also by investing in social projects targeting communities within our area of influence. Requirements Requirements **Technical or Graduate:** Mechanics, Equipment Operator, Electricity, Electrotechnics, or related fields. Minimum 3 years’ experience in lifting operations. Technical Knowledge Advanced knowledge of lifting maneuver work plans. Required Advanced technical knowledge for calculating volume, density, specific weight, centers of gravity, lifting equipment capacity, securing elements or lifting rigging. Required Experience in preparing safety documentation, identifying risks, and implementing controls, authorizations, and safety permits for 100% of lifting maneuvers. Required Strict knowledge of work procedures and fatality protocols. Required Visual acuity is essential; full knowledge of signals per ASME standards regarding lifting maneuvers is desirable. Ensure communication that enables safe task execution. Required Full knowledge of hand signals, radio operation, or other types of communication. Required Advanced knowledge for rigging and/or slinging loads, calculating load weight, working distance, and selecting appropriate lifting accessories and cranes for various types of maneuvers. Required Conduct inspection checklists and tests of lifting elements and accessories, ensure their correct use, and discard any item failing to meet regulatory requirements for safe load handling. Required The position is responsible for correctly selecting rigging to be used in lifting maneuvers—e.g., slings, spreader bars, or others matching the specific load’s weight and size requirements. Required Control and supervise safe crane movement during lifting maneuvers, indicating appropriate maneuvers while the operator operates the crane or lifting equipment. Required Maintain 100% of crane-area lifting rigging permanently organized, stored, and labeled, including auditable documentary controls.
