We execute projects involving crane beams, trusses, column encasement, platforms, and support structures for industrial plants, complying with AWS, ASTM, and AISC standards. Job Description We are seeking a **Junior Mechanical Supervisor** to lead the quotation and technical supervision of metal structure projects—from commercial proposal stage through field execution—ensuring adherence to schedules, quality, and safety (with availability for travel to client sites/plants). Responsibilities * Prepare technical-economic quotations for metal structure projects (fabrication, erection, lifting). * Supervise workshop and field execution: fabrication, welding, erection, and installation of metal structures. * Verify compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards (AWS D1\.1/D1\.5, ASTM, AISC). * Monitor physical progress of projects and report to management. * Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and field teams (welders, riggers, foremen, assistants). * Prepare and track site safety documentation (ATS, PTS, work permits). * Participate in quality control: weld inspection, dimensional tolerances, surface preparation, and painting. * Prepare technical progress and project closure reports. Requirements * University degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or related fields (graduated, bachelor’s candidate, or certified). * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in metal structure projects (erection, fabrication, or supervision). * Ability to read structural and mechanical drawings. * Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable) and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge of welding standards (AWS D1\.1) and metal fabrication standards. * Willingness to work on-site/field and travel as required by project needs. * Valid driver’s license (desirable but not mandatory). * Proactivity, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
