Position Summary: We are seeking a Telecommunications Splicing Technician to perform optical fiber splicing, continuity testing, and maintenance of telecommunications networks. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in telecommunications and optical fiber splicing. 2. Knowledge of OTDR and continuity testing. 3. Support in basic electrical installations and fault diagnosis. We are currently seeking top talent to fill the position of **Telecommunications Splicing Technician.** *Requirements:* * Minimum 2 years of experience performing splices in telecommunications projects. * **Valid Tecsur certification required, or prior work experience in Tecsur-related projects.** * Knowledge of optical fiber, OTDR, and continuity testing. * Preferred experience with electrical utilities or concessionaires. * **Driver's license (Mandatory).** *Responsibilities:* * Perform optical fiber splicing and continuity testing on telecommunications networks. * Carry out aerial and underground cable laying, installation, and maintenance. * Interpret telecommunications and electrical technical drawings and diagrams. * Support basic electrical installations and infrastructure-related electrical work. * Conduct measurements, tests, and fault diagnosis on telecommunications networks and electrical systems. * Comply with safety protocols, use of PPE, and SST standards during field activities. * Prepare technical reports on incidents, progress, and completed work. * Coordinate with supervisors and work crews to meet operational schedules. * Maintain order and proper care of assigned tools, equipment, and materials. * Other duties inherent to the position.
