Job Summary: We are seeking a gerocultor/a to care for elderly people, assisting with hygiene, feeding, mobilization, and companionship in San Román de Candamo. Key Points: 1. Essential role in the care and well-being of elderly people. 2. Wide range of daily assistance functions. 3. Teamwork in a geriatric residence environment. We are looking for a person to perform gerocultor/a duties in San Román de Candamo. It is mandatory to hold at least the qualification of Nursing Assistant Technician or the Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent People in Social Institutions. The Exceptional Authorization Certificate, either permanent or provisional, for the gerocultor/a category will also be accepted. A temporary initial contract of 7 months is offered, with the possibility of extension within the company. Working hours will be full-time with rotating shifts covering mornings, afternoons, and nights. Salary will comply with the Collective Agreement for Geriatric Residences of the Principality of Asturias. Main responsibilities include personal hygiene of residents, assisting with room maintenance, supporting feeding for those who require it, performing postural changes, accompanying residents on outings and walks, and cleaning and preparing first-aid kit materials.
