Electrical Quality Engineer

Job Summary: Ensure compliance of assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning works for electrical systems of stationary plants according to specifications and standards. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in quality control and assurance for electrical projects. 2. Supervision and verification of electrical work execution. 3. Preparation and monitoring of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Job Objective Ensure that assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning works for electrical systems of stationary plants comply with technical specifications, drawings, national and international standards, quality procedures, and client requirements, thereby ensuring conformity of executed works throughout the project. Requirements * Electrical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or Mechanical-Electrical Engineer. * Registered and licensed professional (preferred). * Experience in quality control and assurance for industrial or mining electrical projects. * Experience in assembly and installation of electrical systems for stationary plants. * Knowledge of assembly of electrical panels, motor control centers (MCCs), electric motors, transformers, and distribution systems. * Knowledge of interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, control schematics, and cable lists. * Experience in preparation and monitoring of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. * Availability to work under a 20x10 work regime. Main Responsibilities * Supervise adherence to quality procedures during electrical assembly and installation of the plant. * Verify that electrical works are executed per drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards. * Prepare, review, and control Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). * Inspect installation of cable trays, conduit pipes, raceways, and supports. * Verify laying, identification, and termination of power, control, and instrumentation cables. * Inspect assembly of electrical panels, MCCs, transformers, electric motors, and grounding systems. * Supervise electrical tests including continuity, insulation resistance, grounding resistance, and equipment functionality. * Coordinate and participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning tests. * Prepare inspection protocols, inspection records, and quality reports. * Manage Non-Conformities (NCs), corrective actions, and follow-up of observations. * Prepare and administer the project Quality Dossier. * Coordinate inspections with the client and supervision. * Issue technical reports and periodic quality progress reports. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during project execution.
