Job Summary: We are seeking a Tool Assistant to manage inventory, maintenance, and quality control of tools for a company specializing in mechanical ventilation and environmental control. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage inventories of workshop tools and equipment. 2. Perform maintenance and quality control of tools. 3. Ensure warehouse organization and signage (5S methodology). A specialist company in Mechanical Ventilation and Environmental Control is seeking a **TOOL ASSISTANT** for its Surco office. **Requirements:** * Technician graduate in Mechanics, Electricity, or related fields (incomplete studies accepted). * 3–6 months of experience conducting workshop tool inventories. * Availability to work in Surco (near Ricardo Palma University) and travel across various districts of Lima, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 11 AM. **Responsibilities:** * Perform maintenance and quality control to ensure proper functionality. * Receive, identify, and store tools and equipment correctly. * Issue and receive tools to technical staff using standardized forms or control systems. * Inspect the condition and functionality of tools before and after each service. * Maintain up-to-date physical and digital warehouse inventories. * Record tool receipts, issuances, loans, and returns. * Report damaged, lost, or maintenance- or calibration-required tools. * Coordinate equipment dispatch for preventive, corrective maintenance, or calibration. * Maintain a clean, organized, and properly signposted warehouse under the 5S methodology. * Prepare tool kits according to requirements of each Work Order (OTI). * Assist in receiving materials and equipment purchased by the company. * Conduct cyclic and general inventories. * Identify tool and consumable replenishment needs. * Comply with Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) regulations.
