**About You**
This position is part of Arbex’s investment to create new jobs and expand its capacity to produce premium products essential to millions of people worldwide—at the Puerto Tejada plant, **Together, We Will Be Unstoppable!!.**
This role will be responsible for ensuring continuous line operation—from the cutting section through secondary packaging—while complying with policies, regulations, procedures, and production, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
**In this role, you will be responsible for:**
* Receiving packaging materials, validating labels and dispatch slips, and ensuring correct material is used for the product being manufactured; rejecting defective materials after prior communication with the lead operator.
* Operating cutters and packers, ensuring optimal equipment condition and contributing to continuous process improvement.
* Efficiently executing count and/or product changeovers, meeting established time targets.
* Inspecting products per defined frequency and segregating those failing to meet quality specifications.
* Completing control forms accurately and reporting out-of-range variables to the lead operator. • Actively participating in the bi-hourly line meeting.
* Performing daily machine cleaning and maintaining order and cleanliness of your assigned line in accordance with the 5S methodology.
* Substituting for Operator 1 as needed, fulfilling all associated responsibilities.
**To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications:**
* Completed high school education or technical training in mechanics, electricity, or industrial electronics.
* 1+ years of experience in industrial processes and machinery.
* Knowledge of EHS, Production Processes (LEAN), and Problem Analysis & Resolution.
* Microsoft Office Suite.
* SAP proficiency is desirable.
* Management indicators: Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
* Knowledge of industrial maintenance and autonomous care.
* Quality Management Systems (QMS).
