Job Summary
The Business Operations Data Trainee position supports the Operations department by managing, updating, and analyzing business information to ensure reliable reporting for commercial and operational decision-making. The role contributes to maintaining local Business and Supply performance data, generating actionable alerts and insights, and supporting key Customer Service transactional processes—such as credit notes for rebates, returns, and financial adjustments. Additionally, it serves as a support point between Operations and Commercial teams, facilitating information on pricing, inventory, availability, and indicator tracking.
Role Purpose
* Strengthen visibility of operational and commercial information through updated, consistent, and actionable reporting.
* Identify deviations, risks, and opportunities based on analysis of sales, inventory, pricing, and customer service data.
* Provide operational support to the Customer Service team in administrative processes that impact customer experience and commercial execution.
* Contribute to standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of the Operations department’s information flows.
Main Responsibilities
1\. Data, Reporting, and Power BI
* Maintain up-to-date the Power BI hub and departmental information: Billing, inventory, imports, Customer Service, and other relevant dashboards.
* Validate consistency of databases from SAP, Orders, pricing reports, inventory reports, and commercial sources.
* Generate inputs, alerts, and insights on trends, deviations, coverage, inventory risks, potential stockouts, and improvement opportunities.
* Propose improvements in visualizations, report structures, and automation of information processes.
2\. Operational Support to Customer Service
* Support documentation management and tracking of requests for rebate-related credit notes, returns, financial adjustments, or other commercial-operational processes.
* Contribute to traceability of requests, resolution times, status, and improvement opportunities within the service flow.
3\. Information for Commercial and Stakeholders
* Prepare and maintain up-to-date reports on pricing, inventory, availability, coverage, sales performance, and import status.
* Support ad hoc analyses required by Operations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and an actionable focus.
4\. Continuous Improvement and Rotational Learning
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, standardization, and data quality.
* Rotate and learn key Operations processes: Customer Service, Logistics, and Imports—understanding their business impact.
* Document learnings, operational workflows, and identified optimization opportunities during rotations.
Required Profile
* Final-year student in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; Power BI, Power Apps, or automation tools are desirable. Knowledge of Copilot for automation.
* Knowledge of or interest in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Imports, and commercial information processes.
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
* Organized, curious, proactive profile with internal customer orientation.
Development / Rotation Approach
The trainee will follow a learning curve focused on understanding the business from an operations perspective, with progressive exposure to Customer Service, Logistics, and Imports. This will enable comprehension of the end-to-end impact of operational information on commercial execution, supply, customer experience, and business decision-making.
