TECHNICAL LEAD (ERP: ODOO)

Job Summary: We are seeking an Odoo Python developer to design, develop, and maintain custom modules, integrate APIs, and optimize functionalities. Key Highlights: 1. Custom Odoo module design and development. 2. Robust API integration with external systems. 3. Odoo functionality customization and extension. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design, develop, and maintain custom modules and applications within the Odoo ecosystem using Python and Odoo's native framework. * Manage implementation of robust and efficient APIs (REST/XML\-RPC) for integration with external systems, using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask when necessary. * Customize and extend existing Odoo functionalities (CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Project) to align with specific business processes. * Optimize database queries and manage the underlying PostgreSQL database in Odoo implementations. * Develop custom reports (QWeb, PDF) and automate workflows (Automation Rules, Scheduled Actions). * Collaborate on Odoo instance implementation, migration, and support. * Implement development best practices (Odoo ORM, inheritance patterns, security). * Document code, technical processes, and implemented solutions for end users and other developers. **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor's degree or university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. * Certifications in Odoo, Python, or Cloud platforms (preferred). **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:** * Advanced Python for Odoo (Odoo ORM, model inheritance, decorators, contexts). * Odoo framework (module structure, XML views, QWeb, security permissions, workflows). * Database: PostgreSQL (essential for Odoo). * Odoo REST/XML\-RPC APIs for integrations. * Git and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Basic front\-end: XML, JavaScript (for view customizations). * Data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis within Odoo. * Complementary backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask). * Other NoSQL databases (MongoDB). * Deployment and CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions). **EXPERIENCE:** * \+1 year of Python development experience with Odoo. * \+2 years of software development experience. * Demonstrable experience in customizing Odoo modules and developing new modules. * Experience integrating Odoo with third\-party systems. * Participation in at least 2 Odoo implementation or development projects. **KEY COMPETENCIES** * Solving complex business problems through Odoo customization. * Team collaboration and clear communication with functional consultants and end users. * Self\-driven learning to stay current with new Odoo versions. * Results\-oriented mindset and focus on optimizing business processes. **WORK MODALITY** * Hybrid / On\-site (based on project requirements). * Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am \- 6:00 pm).
