Emotional support for patients and their families **Job Description** ---------------------- Provide timely, efficient, and compassionate specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. 1\. Comply with biosafety standards, care guidelines, functional manuals, and gastroenterological procedures. 2\. Effectively and promptly assess, treat, and evaluate human responses generated by diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the Gastroenterology department. 3\. Establish an effective therapeutic relationship with patients in the Gastroenterology department. 4\. Be knowledgeable about wound care, biopsy, puncture, and other procedures. 5\. Prepare the patient unit with appropriate equipment according to invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures as required. 6\. Recognize manifestations of complications in patients undergoing gastroenterological procedures. 7\. Operate diagnostic and treatment equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and cardiac defibrillators. 8\. Provide health counseling to patients and their families. 9\. Request and maintain updated, organized, and controlled stock of work materials and supplies. 10\. Use clinical environments, equipment, and medical instruments diligently, ensuring their maintenance and operational readiness. 11\. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. 12\. Timely record data related to patient care, nursing reports, preparation and performance of procedures in the clinical history. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Registered Professional Nurse with valid Professional Competency Certificate. * Gastroenterology Specialist (Certificate of Completion and/or Degree). * Minimum two years of experience in gastroenterology services. **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
