JOB OBJECTIVE Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and repair of industrial and marine mechanical equipment, guaranteeing the proper functioning of machinery, systems, and mechanical components, while complying with the company's established technical, operational, and safety standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and marine mechanical equipment. * Carry out disassembly, evaluation, repair, and reassembly of pumps, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems. * Diagnose mechanical failures in machinery and equipment. * Perform alignment, adjustment, and calibration of mechanical components. * Interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and work procedures. * Properly use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. * Conduct technical inspections to detect wear, leaks, vibrations, or other mechanical anomalies. * Prepare technical maintenance reports and documentation of completed work. * Coordinate with supervision and operational departments for service execution. * Strictly comply with safety regulations, use of PPE, and SSOMA procedures. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and with tools. * Support emergency response and field or vessel-based operations as required. * Ensure proper care of assigned equipment, tools, and materials. **Academic Qualifications** * Technical training in maintenance mechanics, industrial mechanics, marine mechanics, or related fields. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, metalworking, or the marine sector. * Experience in disassembly and reassembly of mechanical equipment and pumps. * Desired experience in servicing naval vessels. Technical Knowledge * Pump and motor maintenance. * Mechanical fault diagnosis. * Transmission systems and alignment. * Use of measuring instruments. * Reading of mechanical drawings. * Industrial safety and high-risk work practices. * Basic knowledge of welding and metalworking (desirable). * Desired training courses in pump, motor, or industrial/marine system maintenance.
