Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced SSOMA Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety procedures and supervise field activities. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in supervising and implementing safety measures in the field. 2. Key role in risk prevention and incident management. 3. Responsibility for disseminating safety procedures and safety talks. SSOMA SAFETY OFFICER - NORTH LIMA ACIS PROCESS, a company specializing in Fire Protection Systems, is seeking an SSOMA Safety Officer for North/East Lima. Requirements: ⮚ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering (certification required). ⮚ Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Safety Officer (certification required). ⮚ Completion of a diploma program in SSOMA and/or Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). ⮚ Availability to work Monday to Friday across all districts of North/East Lima from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Responsibilities: ⮚ Comply with procedures established by the SSOMA department. ⮚ Prior to commencing fieldwork, conduct dissemination sessions on Work Procedures and IPERC (Initial Preliminary Risk Assessment) for assigned personnel. ⮚ Ensure implementation of control measures specified in the IPERC, ATS (Safe Work Analysis), and PTR (Permit to Work for Hazardous Tasks). ⮚ Deliver 5-minute safety talks or daily safety dialogues before starting each task. ⮚ Conduct the ATS (Safe Work Analysis) prior to initiating any work. ⮚ Before beginning any work, obtain formal authorization via the duly signed PTR (Permit to Work for Hazardous Tasks) by responsible parties. ⮚ Continuously supervise fieldwork locations and ensure adherence to safety measures. ⮚ Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the contracting company. ⮚ Complete the checklist for equipment/tools supplied by the contracting company. ⮚ Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the SSOMA department and submit the investigation record within 24 hours, including the corresponding corrective action plan and ensuring its implementation. ⮚ Submit evidence of completion of corrective actions.
