They are responsible for executing construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise resource utilization to ensure that construction works are completed on time, according to specifications, and within budgeted cost. Their most common responsibilities include: managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses; preparing budget estimates; planning and defining construction phases; supervising subcontractor and subordinate staff or labor activities; verifying progress achieved and work quality throughout all project phases; representing the company in relevant matters, etc. **Candidate Requirements** ACCIONA, in its CONSTRUCTION business, requires hiring a **CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER** for the startup and contractual execution of the new Chincheros Control Tower project located in the Cusco region. **POSITION OBJECTIVE** To lead, plan, coordinate, and control all production and physical execution activities of the construction project, ensuring compliance with established technical, quality, safety, schedule, and cost standards. To lead the field construction team, optimize resources, and guarantee delivery of functional infrastructure meeting aeronautical and sector regulatory requirements. **REQUIREMENTS** **Academic Qualifications:** * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related fields. * Professional registration and licensing: Actively registered and licensed with the corresponding Peruvian Engineers’ Association. (Not mandatory) * Postgraduate studies in Project Management, Construction Management, Operations Management, or similar disciplines (desirable). * Certifications in project management (PMP, PMI), safety (NEBOSH, OSHA), or quality (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) will be valued. **Experience:** * Minimum 8–10 years of experience in production management, site management, supervision, or direction of construction projects for airport infrastructure, control towers, high-rise buildings, hospitals, shopping centers, or special structures. * Knowledge of construction works in operational airport environments. * Experience in working at height, deep foundations, steel structures, and special systems. **Location:** * Willingness to reside and work in the city of Cusco for the duration of the project. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop and update the master production plan (physical schedule, construction sequence, on-site logistics). * Coordinate with the technical office regarding detailed engineering and construction drawings. * Implement physical progress control systems (S-curves, milestones, daily/weekly measurements). * Directly supervise civil, structural, architectural, and special installations works execution. * Optimize use of labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity. * Supervise management of specialized subcontractors (steel structures, elevators, communication systems, air traffic control). * Ensure compliance with technical specifications by all suppliers and subcontractors. * Implement and audit the project’s Quality Assurance Plan. * Participate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management processes. * Monitor direct production costs (labor, equipment, materials). * Identify deviations and apply corrective actions to maintain budget adherence. * Manage operational airport interferences, even if the airport is not yet operational.
