Position Summary: We are seeking a Geological Engineer with experience in underground mining to conduct and implement geological information and ensure mineral resource exploration and exploitation. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in underground mining. 2. Conducts and implements geological information for exploration and exploitation. 3. Plans and organizes exploration activities inside the mine. Full Time On-site Geology Requirements * Bachelor's degree and/or professional title in Geological Engineering and/or related fields * 5 years of experience in underground mining * Underground geological mapping, Economic Geology, Mineral Resource Estimation Calculations, Mineralogy and Petrology Responsibilities * Conduct and implement geological information, geological mapping, diamond drill core logging, and geological interpretations to ensure exploration and exploitation of new mineral resources. * Organize and prepare detailed geological reports (geological maps, grade estimates, sections) of mineralized bodies to maintain mining planning for economic minerals (short-, medium-, and long-term mining plans). * Supervise and control quality procedures in sampling techniques; oversee short-term definition diamond drilling programs for spatial delineation of mineralized bodies to guarantee reliable and representative grade results; estimate tonnage of mineralized bodies. * Plan and organize exploration activities inside the mine to ensure replenishment and growth of mineral resources. * Organize and evaluate weekly, monthly, and annual geological reports to report to Management and the Board of Directors, enabling effective monitoring and reporting of departmental progress to the Board and Management. * Assess workplace safety conditions, maintaining a proactive attitude toward self-care and care for others to ensure personnel safety and work integrity. * Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, consistent with the position role. ### **Alpayana** #### **Mining** **Peru, Lima, Lima** We are Alpayana, a mining group committed to sustainable mining practices, positively contributing to our environment through every action we undertake.
