We are looking for a **COST ACCOUNTANT** with experience in the textile sector, based in ATE. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: 1\. Cost Control and Analysis: · Determine material, labor, and indirect production costs for fabrics. · Calculate total cost per kilogram of fabric, including direct and indirect costs. · Conduct cost studies for each type of fabric production, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction. · Develop and maintain the inventory control system for raw materials and finished products. 2\. Budgeting and Financial Planning: · Prepare and monitor production and operational expense budgets. · Analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions. · Collaborate with the procurement department to properly manage budgets related to inputs and materials. 3\. Profitability Analysis: · Conduct profitability studies for different product lines, analyzing market competitiveness. · Prepare profit margin reports by fabric type, customer, and domestic \- international markets. · Support pricing and marketing strategy decisions based on detailed cost analysis. 4\. Optimization of Production Processes: · Suggest improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. · Request key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, time, and production efficiency. · Evaluate the impact of new technologies or machinery on production costs. 5\. Regulatory Compliance: · Conduct internal audits to verify proper application of defined costs and processes. 6\. Communication and Coordination: · Closely collaborate with production, procurement, sales, logistics, and finance departments to ensure effective cost management across the entire value chain. · Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on cost status and propose solutions to potential high-cost issues. **REQUIREMENTS**: · Degree in Cost Accounting, Cost Engineering, or related field. · Specialization in Cost Management, Finance, or areas related to the textile industry. · 3 to 5 years of experience in cost or finance roles within the textile export industry, with knowledge of applicable regulations. · Knowledge of production budget planning and control, cost analysis, and accounting or ERP software usage. · Proficiency in cost analysis software tools (Advanced Excel, enterprise resource planning systems). · Knowledge of the textile industry, including production processes, materials, machinery, and associated costs. · Ability to perform detailed financial analyses and deliver clear, concise presentations to support decision-making. **SKILLS**: · Analytical ability to identify and propose solutions to cost-related issues. · Teamwork and effective communication skills when interacting with various departments. · Proactivity in identifying areas for improvement in production processes and resource optimization. · Adaptability and flexibility in response to market changes and operational process adjustments. · High accuracy in cost analysis and preparation of financial reports. · Clear presentation of results and analyses to interdisciplinary teams and senior executives. **COMPETENCIES**: * Proficiency in cost planning, control, and monitoring, with a clear focus on profitability and optimization. * In-depth understanding of textile processes, material types, machinery, and their impact on costs. * Ability to process and analyze large volumes of data and generate accurate, timely reports. * Focus on achieving objectives through continuous improvement and cost reduction without compromising quality.
